The Final Post (For Now)

Well, we've reached the end of the year. And what a year it was. Seniors, I wish you every bit of luck at college. You'll all do fantastically, I'm sure. Feel free to visit any time you want to. We won't chase you out. At least, we probably won't. Maybe.

Anyway, to cap off the last week...it was phenomenal. STAC Night was fantastic. The live performances had a few hiccups here and there (including one where I couldn't see the screen of Jess's boom box), but overall, everything went smoothly. The films all looked great, and the montage was fantastic. My parents loved the whole thing - they weren't even a bit put off by the profanity involved. On Friday we got a lot of footage for the principals' montage, and I feel that that was a good way to end off the year. And here we are, at the end of the year.

People of the Internet, I shall return.

Heading into Battle

You may wonder why I've put this post off until this late on Sunday. Well, I mixed up the battles of Chancellorsville and Vicksburg on the SAT II yesterday, and I'm still kicking myself over it. Some history nut I am.

Well, back to business: I've picked up a lot more "business," shall we say, this week. I'm acting those skits written by Grace, Anika, Jess, and Frank. I'm also performing in Kerry's opening number, the National Anthem skit, and I scored a minor role in Shiana's movie. I can safely say that I have everything memorized at this point. I'm a bit nervous about STAC Night, mainly because I'm in almost all of the live skits, and I'm not completely sure of how I'll handle when I'm doing very different characters in quick succession. I think I'll do fine, but I'm hoping there won't be many costume changes involved. Heck, I'll roll with it - quick costume changes are no stranger to me. And I don't need too many props, either. We forge on!
